Handbag from StyleWe - Product Review

The lovely Lemon from StyleWe sent me a handbag to review!

I selected the basic style I wanted, and left it to be a mystery.

SO IN LOVE WITH THIS BAG!!

It's a pale purple cross body bag with gold toned clasps and buckles.

Loving the stitch texture on the top of the bag.

It's big enough for two cans of soft drink.

And fits my cellphone, work shirt and small essentials.

It also fits my cellphone, battery bank and a few other bits and bobs.

Whats in my bag?  Phone (Samsung Note 1), Battery Pack (Apacer 11000mah), hairbrush, The Body Shop Mango hand cream, flash drive, Great Barrier Island Bee Co. Manuka Honey lip balm, Blamtastic Balm, hairties, headphones and keys.

Lots of space for such a tiny bag.  I can fit quite a bit into it!

It was pretty awesome to get this bag in the mail, and I love being able to test and review these kinda things.

It makes a perfect going out bag - everyone has black bags and you can get them lost in the dark, at least with the bright colour you can see it!

Thanks again, StyleWe, for giving me the chance to review one of your bags!

365 days of colour: day 32

 Day 32

I've been hunting, searching and pretty much lusting after Butter London - Knackered.  Its a blue/purple/teal duochrome with a holographic glitter.

Image from Butter London's website.

This isn't it.

In my hunt for a perfect dupe, I found this one at the last Beauty Expo.

It's not even close.

Leighton Denny - Meteor Match

The glitter is more silver, and the blue is not quite as vibrant as Knackered.  The purple duo is more visible in the bottle than on the nail.

Still a pretty colour though.

If anyone wants to gift me a bottle of Knackered, send me a facebook message and I'll love you forever.

 Day 31

Lets just say that cleanup on these textured polishes is a pain.  If you think glitter polish is hard to get off, these are worse.

But they are so pretty.  Ugh.

Julie G - Plum Fairy

I have a massive soft spot for Julie G polishes.  They're *SO* pigmented that you can easily, if you're in a hurry, get away with one coat.  If you have a little extra time, you can slap on two in a relatively short amount of time because they dry super quick.

If you DON'T like the texture, you can add a coat of thin clear coat to lessen the bumps, or a thicker top coat to smooth it out.  Gloss top coats will enhance the sparkle, matte top coats will dull it, but it looks pretty either way.

365 days of colour: day 25

Day 25!

I cheated a little.

Sally Hansen Gem Crush - Blingtastic

Totally not recycling the same mani.  Pfft.  Who would do that?!

#sorrynotsorry.

365 days of colour: day 24

Daaaaaaaay 24!

Color clubs for life, yo!

Color Club - Port-folio
Accent:  Color Club / Ruby Wings - Fate

I love love love love this purple.  And you know how they say its impossible to photograph a duochrome?  Its Freaking Impossible.

Its a shimmery grape purple with an emerald green flash.

365 days of colour: Day 23

Day 23

Hitting the Color Clubs still.

Color Club / Ruby Wings - Fate
Accent: Color Club - Port-Folio

Its meant to be a strong colour change, but its not.  At least on me. I get maaaaybe a few shades darker, but not enough to be obvious.

365 days of colour: day 8

Purple!

And a little bit of sparkle.

Revlon Passionate Fruit is a red-toned purple with a sweet fruity scent.
Due to the scented oil, it does take a little longer to dry than standard colours.

Ring Finger is Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple.

These colours are gorgeous, and I love the duochromeness.  But the dry time.  Oh gosh the dry time.  It takes FOREVER.  Hence the wrinkles.  Not only does the base take forever to dry, but it re-activates the base colour to such a degree that it takes everything with it if it moves.
Every part of me wants to use a 2nd coat for a greater colour payoff, but I couldn't stomach the thought of waiting another hour for one coat to dry.

365 DoC: Day 4

 Purple!

This is Jordana - Purple Punch with a couple of different toppers.
Thumb + ring finger = Max Factor - Fantasy Fire
Other fingers = tipped with NOPI - Heavenly Angel

The Jordana has a frosty sheen to it, but doesn't appear to show the brush-strokes as much as some frosts do.

I really need to find my camera, or get a new phone.  I'm so sorry for the grainy photos, guys.
