Ozotic + Picture Polish love.

I'm a big fan of duochromes, flakies and holos.  This is no new thing - I got my first Duo from australia when I was 20, and I have no idea where its gone, but I've spent years trying to find it or replace it.

A while back I got a package from Serra who placed an order for us from Picture Polish.  They're phasing out the 500 range of Ozotic polishes, so I had to snap up 505.  Its the hardest (and I mean HARDEST) colour to photograph.

They also take an age to dry, probably from being so sheer.  This means you're more likely to dent the surface (as I always do).

Please ignore the tip wear/shrinkage/wrinkles... thats my own fault for not waiting till it was dry.

Kleancolor Black, Ozotic 505, Picture Polish Festival.

Can see a little of the blue shift in the bottle.

I love the multicoloured flakies.
Blue, purple and a touch of green shift, with rainbow flakies.

Miranesse Haul.

I made a video for this one.  I usually do the photos and things, but I was in a talky mood and I just bought a new webcam.

If you want me to make more like this, then leave me a message and I'll think about it.  Descriptions about all the products are in the description box.

Goodie Box May :)

This was my very very first Goodie Box.

I've heard good things, and it was a little dearer than Samplebar, but the quality of the products is top notch - on par with SB.

 Sturdy box!

(EDIT: Wonder of wonders, I found a previous picture I had taken with the moisturiser in it!)

Contained 8 samples.  Quite a good little stash.

Kiss USA French Wrap Kit
Full Size: $22

I'm all for falsies.  These might be finding their way onto my fingers very soon.  I had to cut all mine down because they started breaking and peeling again. Includes glue, and I've used the Kiss brand before.  It's decent and stands up well. Well, it stands up well for normal people... lasts about a week for me because I work in retail.

Argania Hair Oil
Full Size: $6 (5ml).

I love full size products.  I'm surprised how lovely this smells, and how shiny it made my hair.
I've been using Salon Sorbet for the last 3 months or so now, and I bought their sampler kit for a bit of a change up, and this oil just gave my hair that extra shine.

Also, MADE IN NEW ZEALAND!!

Maybe I should buy some to ship to peoples overseas, seeing as I can't send polish now.... *grrrrrrr*

L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Colour Shampoo and Gel Masque.
Full Size: $35 / $49.95 (250ml / 200ml).  Sample: $14 / $18 (100ml / 75ml)

I don't colour my hair at the moment (rocking the natural mousy brown), so I have no need for these.  I have offered them to a friend, but they're living in my "Goo Box" till I either need it or she comes and collects it.

They smell amazing though.

The "WTF?" Product of the box.

Cranclense tablets.
Full Size: $14.

I will gift these to my wonderful mother as she has far more use for this than I do.

Dirty Works Body Butter with Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil.
Full Size $16 (300ml).  Sample: $1.06 (20ml).

Body Butter.  Stock standard purse/handbag essential.  I have a really strong love for Shea Butter.  I think it comes from the fact that people in my life had been allergic to chocolate, so anything with cocoa butter was right out.

DermaOil
Full size $19.95 (100ml).  Sample: $9.97 (50ml).

NZ's answer to Bio-oil.  I love the smell, I love the feel, and I love the fact you can just tap the end of the bottle on your scars instead of having to disperse it into your hand and get all messy.  The nozzle only lets out the tiniest amount at a time.  I've used this a couple (read: numerous) times and it still looks full.

Not only Made In NZ, but its PROUDLY made in NZ.

I finished up before I had realised that I had missed the Kiri Manuka Honey Face Moisturiser.  I only know this because a) I have a sheet in front of me with the box contents, b) I have a picture with it in (took the picture a while ago, only just got round to blogging) and c) because I went to find the stuff to use after my shower and realised I had lost it.  It'll be somewhere.  Full size for the moisturiser is $19.90 (70ml) and my Sample was $8.52 (30ml).

Total cost of the box was $29.90 (including shipping) and the samples came to $93.95.

The sample sizes and full sized products in this box made me happy.  I'm used to seeing 2ml, 5ml, 7ml samples, and getting a couple which were way bigger than this is great.  I will be getting the next one for sure.

My only real gripe is that they don't list where the products can be bought.  Sure, most of them are from your regular retailers, but I want to know if I can get them online or if we can get discount codes for the products.  I would LOVE to send some of the DermaOil and Argania oil to the states.

Disney Challenge: The Lion King

This one was harder.

I used so many polishes that I'm not going to list them all.  There is a bit of china glaze, CR, Kleancolor and Sally Hansen.

Thumb to pinky:   Simba, Mufasa, Scar, Rafiki, Zazu.

I love this handcream.  Cost me $2.99 cause I had a $20 voucher and free shipping!

Disney Challenge: Beauty and The Beast

Beauty and the Beast

This one was a little easier.

The yellow dress is Jordana Yellow Dazzle with Chichi Magnetic Yellow stamped over the top using a mash plate.  The Beast is CR 32 (I think), CR 31 (maybe?) and Kleancolor Cappuccino fanbrushed.  Rimmel Matte top coat on the Beast.

Disney Challenge: Tangled.

I know I'm posting these in the wrong order now, and for once, I just don't really mind.

At least they're up, right?

 Tangled!

Purple corset is Sally Hansen Lively Lilac with Chichi purple magnetic and mash stamp, hair is CR 31 I think with SH Lightning stamped over the top with another mash stamp, and the lanterns in the sky are chichi magnetic blue with picture polish Ruby Blu over the top.

Sample Bar May Glam Pack

Yay!  I'm still in love with Samplebar.

It doesn't seem like a lot, in fact, this is probably the least amount of stuff I've had in one of these boxes... but these 5 little samples is worth a whopping $113.86 (depending on how you price the perfume).

 Clinique All About Eyes

Going in my "I've had a bad day and I need some rescuing" pile.

Full size: $79 for 15ml.  Sample: $26.33 (5ml).

Lancome Hypnose Custom-Wear Volume Mascara

I only got to take photos of this before my sister snaffled it.  Its ok, I have a Julep one that I love and a Mabelline (I think... I went to check, and you know what?  The damned thing has grown legs and walked!  Its a dark pink tube with a green end? Waterproof.) one that I use for going out.

 Full Size $58 for 6ml.  Sample: $19.33 (2ml).

Viva La Juicy Eau De Parfum Spray

I like this perfume, but its not something I would buy for myself.  It's muskier than I thought it would be.

Full size: $104 (30ml), $145 (50ml), $195 (100ml).  Sample (this is where it gets tricky): Between $2.92 and $5.20 depending what you're basing your full size one.  (1.5ml)

Prevage Face Advanced Anti-Aging Serum (Elizabeth Arden)

Another to add to the "soon" pile.
Full size: $299 for 50ml.  Sample: $29.90 (5ml)

 Shiseido Pore Smoothing Corrector

Apparently you put this under foundation and it makes you look even.  Its something I'll have to try when I'm heading out for the night - I don't wear a lot of makeup all the time.

Full size: $66 (13ml).  Sample: $25.38 (5ml).

We also got a $10 voucher for Life Pharmacy.

You can get any of the products here from your usual department store, or your nearest Life Pharmacy.

I got this around mothers day, and there was really nothing in it that my mother would like besides the perfume, and it seemed a bit silly just to give her a sample of perfume, so I got her something else.
