The February box has been pretty good!
We have a good mix of things in here!
Be A Bombshell Mascara
Full Size: $21
Nothing wrong with a basic black mascara. This one has a volumising formula, which is good if you have thin lashes. The brush helps to distribute product onto all the lashes, and it builds up nicely.
One eye with mascara, one eye without mascara.
My brows just can't be tamed.
Used the Unani Micellar water from a previous box to remove it - I love how cleanly it comes off with one pass.
Mellow Matte Lipstick - Candy Floss
Full Size: $18
I wore this a couple times when I was going out. I'm loving the bright barbie pink and love that it's more cool-toned.
Got a bunch of compliments while I was wearing it.
I expect a matte product to set with a more matte finish than this gives. It has a semi-matte appearance to me, and isn't transfer-proof like I expect matte lipsticks to be.
It is a really pretty colour though.
Lanolips Everyday Hand Balm
Full size: $22.95 (50ml)
Gorgeous product. I love the smell, I love the texture, I love the absorption... there is something about lanolin being so close to human oils that just makes it really effective.
The rose scent is a little strong though - I put it on next to a workmate and she started sneezing because of the smell.
(No bottle shot? I left it in a friends car before I got the chance to take photos. As soon as I get it back, I'll update with a bottle shot!)
The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil
Full size: $54.95 (30ml). Sample: $12.83 (7ml)
How do you use this? I put a couple drops into my fingers and dotted it over my face and neck, but it just felt.... weird. Greasy, oily and shiny. I tried to rub it in but I just wasn't feeling it.
It smells good though - very soothing and calming. I think it's the camellia and rosehip.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream
Full Size: $24.95 (50ml). Sample: $7.49 (15ml)
Ahhh, a cream I can get behind. It smells good, it feels good, a little goes a long way...
It absorbed quickly into my skin and left it feeling soft. Does what it says on the container, so happy with it.
The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig Eau De Toilette
Full Size: $36.95 (50ml). Sample: $1.11 (1.5ml)
This could go either way.
It smells exactly like figs - which is good if you are really into figs.
By itself, its ok. Doesn't overpower, fades out nicely, has a light finish.
Just don't combine it with ANYTHING else.
I tried it with the Lanolips hand cream and I smelt like an old lady.
I tried it with a honey based hand cream and it was just too sickly sweet.
I wonder if moving the perfume to the neck and leaving the lotion on the hands would make a difference, but I think the fig would be too close to my nose and I'd end up hating it.
Still on the fence about this.
Garnier Fructis Full and Luscious Shampoo & Conditioner
Full Size: $5.95 (250ml). Sample: 10ml ($0.23)
The only good use of foil packets like these is to put them into a travel bag. They're good for an weekend trip somewhere or taking in your handbag if you know you're not going to be home for a few days.
Total cost of the box: $19.95.
Total value this month: $83.84
Totally worth it.

OCTOOOOOOBER!!!! Lust Have It!!
We got a pretty cool box this month.
The info sheet was emailed instead of included in the bag.
Does anyone want a post on "Things to do with a million pink mesh bags"?
Atkins Endulge Chocolate Candies.
Full Size: $9 (5 packets). Sample Size: $1.80 (1 packet)
Looks like m&m's, tastes like m&m's... I'm sold. Give me more of these.
Bioderma Sensibio Light
Full Size: $32.99 (40ml). Sample: $12.37 (15ml)
It has no fragrance and absorbs really fast. I keep it in my hand bag because I'm guilty of not slapping the moisturiser on straight out of the shower. I think I would've preferred a slightly floral or scented aroma, but that's just me being picky.
Lust Have It Highlighter
Full Size: $29.95 (8gm)
I've never used a highlighter. I used to use a bronzer, but I think I learnt the error of my ways (applying it heavily with no regard to what I looked like) and decided to leave the bronzing for the nights out.
In that same regard, I don't contour at all. Adding a highlighter to my non-existent routine isn't really a step I wanted to take.
Mine arrived a little beaten up in the mail - not as bad as the Mellow eyeshadow from a previous box!
A subtle shimmer, very much brings and attracts light to the areas you apply it. The formula was a little on the chalky side, but it blends out ok on the skin.
Hair & Me Organic Oil Hair Treatment
Full Size: $19.95 (90ml)
This stuff is like a little bag of magic.
I had to put it in the fridge till it reached a creamy consistency (oh, the perils of living in a warm climate) and applied about 4 good palm-fulls to my hair. My hair is pretty long, so your results will vary.
Bundled my hair on top of my head, waited the length of an episode of American Horror Story, and showered.
It says to wash twice with shampoo, and they really do mean it. After one pass, it was still pretty oily, and even after two shampoos, my hair (to me, at least) still felt a little weighed down the next day. It was very shiny and dare I say it, healthy looking!
The formula is pretty much edible - they're all natural oils and it smells like a coconut exploded on your head. Pair it with a Cosmetic Kitchen Chocolate face mask and you'd smell like a bounty bar!
Pity it can't cure split ends.
Flormar Eyeshadow Quad
Full Size: $30-50 (they didn't list the *actual* product because it could of been one of many many things).
I have hooded lids, so eyeshadows for me are either BOLD and out there, or pretty understated, because at the best of times, you can only see my waterline and just under my brow.
I tried to do a couple of eye looks with this, but the black just overpowered everything. The white turns translucent and shimmery, but doesn't give enough oomph to pull the heavier colours out of goth territory.
See what I mean about dominating?
Ahhh, the missing Skin Magic tea bags... wait... but there is only one?!
After sending them a quick email, the rest will be in the November box.
With a value of $106.07, this is a pretty nice haul from Lust Have It.

Flormar Nail Polish
Full Size: $12
It's a pretty bright pink. 2 coats for full coverage, and it dries quite quickly.
I haven't worn it long enough to give it the chip test, and the smell when applying reminds me of dollar store nail polishes - but those ones tend to be the ones that last forever!
