Lust Have It JULLLLLLLYYYY!!!

I love getting boxes like this one - a full face of makeup!

Lets start with the face.  Because it's actually not too bad looking!

Eyeshadow, mascara, blush and lipstick all came from this bag.  The base was a Za powder.

The brush on the mascara was a little hard for me to work with personally, so it went on the lash line, and I tried to hide it with a smudge of the darker purple from the eyeshadow duo.  Didn't really work.

I like the blue mascara though!

(Gosh my nose looks huge in these photos!)

Onto the products!

GOSH Matt Duo Eyeshadow - 008 Dusty Purple
Full Size: $14.99

It's a pretty duo.  It's a little chalky but the colour payoff is ok.  I haven't tried it wet, but it might improve the colour intensity.

MPrincess Mineral Blush - Peach Fuzz
Full Size: $15.45 (1.2g)

Orange blush?  Shimmery orange blush?!

It's not too bad!

The shimmer acts as a nice highlight, and the orange actually blends out quite nicely to a pinkish finish.    On my hand I have it blended out (on the left) and applied roughly with my finger (on the right).

If you threw it over a base, it would make a great eyeshadow.

Teeez Cosmetics Desert Metals Mascara - Sapphire Nights
Full Size: $32.50

I've never used a coloured mascara before, so this intrigued me.  It's dark enough that I can totally get away with wearing it on a normal day-to-day basis.  It would look amazing with they grey-blue eyeliner from the previous box.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush - Marshmellow Pink
Full Size: $15

A cool leaning blue-based pink.  Not really my colour - I think it looks a little too barbie on me.
It claims to be a stain, but it doesn't stain nearly as much as the other JPP lip blush that I got a while back.

I think if I was to sheer it out a little, or wear something darker mixed with it, I could pull it off a little better.

Essenzza Face Mask
Full Size: $4.99

This brand is amazing.  I love their wipes, I love their masks, and this one has a mask pattern printed on it, so you don't look quite as weird sitting there with a sheet of paper on your face.

I tend to collect these up and save them for pamper nights with the girls, or the day after a big night out.

Total cost for the box: $19.95 Australian money.
Total value of this box: $82.93.

Considering I'll use every product, this is a great box.

November Lust Have It!

Holy photos, Batman!  It's time (well past time) to post the November Lust Have It!

The December one is due to show up in a couple days, so lets get this good time started!

Some good stuff this month!

Ulta3 Blush Stick - Bold Apricot
Full Size: $6.95

This is a cream to powder blush and despite it saying "bold", it's not overpowering.  It seems a little chalky going on, but it blends out to almost nothing, just a subtle hint of colour.

Left side is smudged/blended out, right side is untouched.

It's very subtle.  I think this was 3 or 4 swipes, blending out each one with my fingers.  I guess you could build it up, but its summer, and lets embrace the non-heavy makeup.  Also, freckles.  I has them.

Evelyn Iona Natural and Organic Concealer - Flawless
Full Size: $19.80 (3g).  Sample: $11.22 (1.7g)

This is a very creamy formula and it pretty perfectly matches my skin colour.  The sample size is small enough that I can throw it into my makeup bag and not worry about carrying a huge pottle around.

Can you even see it?  Its there... somewhere...

Coral Colours Love Lips - Peach Sorbet
Full Size: $6.99

This colour is a bit light on me, its OK but not sure I could wear it on the daily.  It is a little patchy when applied straight from the... bullet?  It's shaped like an EOS balm, which just makes me want to rub it all over my mouth instead of trying to actually get it ON my lips.

It's still a pretty colour though.  I'd need to be a little paler I think to pull it off.

Manna Kadar Liplocked Lippie - XOXO
Full Size: $24

I'm a sucker for a good lip colour.

This one is a hard colour to describe.  In the tube it shows as a dark pink-leaning nude, but on the skin it changes into something more mauve, and on the lips its different again.  Application is great, but it tends to catch on bits that need to be exfoliated, and that is something I haven't done in a while.  Naughty Stacey.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream
Full Size: $19.99 (50ml).  Sample: $1.99 (5ml)

For a daily moisturiser this isn't too bad.  Its light and goes on without a greasy feel.  It has a very strong scent of floral and is tinted.  The whole thing isn't tinted though, it appears to have little beads of colour in it that burst as you rub it in.  You need to be careful to get it all even or else you'll have streaks.

Also, It has SPF15, which is good for daily skin care, but will cause havoc with flash photography, so plan wisely and maybe change it out for a normal moisturiser if you're going out or know you're gonna be somewhere with flashing lights.

I'd buy this in full size.

BONUS!

Stayfree UltraThins.
Full Size: $4.29.  Not sure how many are in a full pack, I don't use this brand normally.

Personally, I don't understand why companies send samples of sanitary products.  I know they fit the "women" section of the bag, but I would rather have a voucher to go get a product that suits my needs rather than the actual product.  In saying that, most of the vouchers we get are for Australia, and we can't use them here in NZ.

Total value this month:  $51.99

Not bad!

Lust Have It June Box

June's Lust Have It box came to me in the middle of winter, so I ended up taking these photos on the only sunny day in the middle ofJuly (NZ gets their boxes a week or two later than Aussie), which meant that it was the end of the day and the shadows were being unhelpful.

Nice looking assortment of bits and bobs.

In true Stacey fashion, I lost the card that came with everything.  No prices listed, but if your Google-Fu is up to scratch, you should be able to find most things online.

The Cosmetic Kitchen
Peppermint Foot Mask

You have to mix it with a bit of oil and water to make a paste, and sit and relax for a while as it does its thing.

Because you only need a tablespoon or so, I would love for these to come in resealable bags, so I can keep the rest dry.

The Cosmetic Kitchen
Dry Body Scrub

You're meant to grab a handful and rub/buff it into your skin before a shower.  It has coffee, bergamont and sugar.  You could probably eat it, but don't use it as a face scrub or on open wounds.

Nak Thermal Shield

I'm not a huge user of heated hair products (I have zero patience for doing my own hair) so I've given this to my sister to try, as she has a GHD and uses it often.

It smells divine, and if it was a dry shampoo or a leave in conditioner, I would be loving it forever.

Chapstick Hydration Lock

I love chapsticks, and I love the dual-ended ones.  I have the Mixstix, and what I like about them, is that both ends are the "right" end.

I keep this one at work so I can use it during my breaks.

No strong flavour, and no colour, its the perfect little potion to wear with a lipstick.  Use side 1 first, wait a bit, then apply your colour, wait a bit, then put side 2 over the top.

Teeze Eve's Ready To Wear Lipstick
Caramel

And if you are looking for a lipstick, Teeze has it.
The packaging is just gorgeous.  How could you say no to that box art!

The box art continues onto the lid of the lipstick, and I'm digging the classic silver tube.

This colour is just a lovely semi glossy flat colour.  Not a tonne of shimmer, no sparkles, just a slick of colour.
It works well with my skin tone, and I've worn it a few times.

All in all a good box this month!

I loved the Chapstick and the Teeze, I'm a fan of the smell of the hair protector, and I'll find some water-proof containers to decant the body scrub and foot mask into before I use them.

Lust Have It: May Beauty Bag!

YAY!!  Another beautiful box of bits!

No pink bags yet, but the pink box was pretty.

Lets get right into the products this month!

Bloom Foundation Stick - Base 3

Full Size: 11.2gm ($35)
www.bloomcosmetics.com

This foundation contains rice bran oil and jojoba.  Both of those are pretty good for your skin, so at least you know you're getting something good outta it.

I'm thinking base 1 might of been more my colour - I'm on the light-medium side of the scale, so the base 3 foundation was a little darker than something I would usually wear.

I gave this to my sister, who is a touch darker than myself.

Soak Hair Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

Full Size: 500ml ($24.95).  Sample: 25ml ($1.25)
www.soakskin.com

Soak Shampoo is enriched with Maca Root, this product is packed with vitamins including B6, calcium and zinc.
Soak Conditioner is made with Purple Kale, providing Vitamin A, K and Manganese.

Conveniently I ran out of my usual hair products the day before I got these.

I had good hopes for the herbal ingredients, but the formula left me lacking.  I struggled to get a lather going, and because I have long thick hair, sometimes a good lather is what I need to help distribute the product.

I ended up washing my scalp in thirds, just so I could make sure that I worked it all in.  I used about 3 times as much as I would of usually used from a non-enriched formula.  Even after that, it still didn't feel "clean".

The conditioner wasn't great either.  I used the regular amount that I would use on my hair (mid-back length), it was still just as hard to manage as if I hadn't used conditioner at all.

To make it more manageable I had to put some of my other hair treatment oils through it while it was damp.

I don't think I'll be purchasing this in a full size.

Soak Skin Body Lotion

Full Size: 500ml ($29.95).  Sample: 25ml ($1.50)
www.soakskin.com

Infused with Chia Seeds.  Includes Calcium, Vitamin B3 and Magnesium.

To me, it just smells like any other herbal body lotion.  It's decent for throwing into a bag to travel with, or for rubbing on your legs after shaving.

Haven't noticed any great benefits so far, but I'll keep going.

Hola Seaweed Moisturising Repair Cream
Full Size: 50g (Somewhere between $17 and $25)
www.lusthaveit.com.au

This stuff is interesting.  It reminds me of a hand sanitiser/moisturiser that my grandmother gave me for Christmas one year, but its a very fresh, bright smell.

It looks like a cross between whipped cream and blue jelly, and the texture is similar.

On my face it absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth feeling.

Coconut Revolution Coconut Hand Cream Tahi Jasmine

Full Size: 250g ($29.95).  Sample: 10g ($1.50)
www.coconutrevolution.com.au

It smells amazing.  Like a breezy tropical garden.

I love hand creams - I use my hands at work at lot, and I wash them a lot, so I go through them really quickly.  You don't need a lot because the Coconut oil does all the work, and it melts in smoothly.

Loving it!

Lonvitalite 24K Face Mask + Bonus Eye Mask

Full Size: One Use ($9.99)
www.lonvitalite.com.au

I have a bunch of these now.  Sometimes when I have a bath I'll put one on and let it do its magic while I'm soaking in the tub, or I'll take them to my friends houses for when we have girly pamper nights.

You'll look like an idiot wearing it, but you'll feel amazing afterwards.

Thats it for this months box!

There were some good things and some mediocre things, but all up it was pretty good.

Total value: $71.19(ish - I'm estimating on the Hola stuff).

Total price: $19.95

Pretty good value!!
